About us

SubsidyPrograms.org exists because the help a household qualifies for is spread across a dozen agencies, and almost nobody has time to find it. We put it in one place and say clearly who we are.

Who we are

SubsidyPrograms.org is operated by GT Group LLC, a private company. We are an advertising and informational service. We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any federal, state, or local government body. We do not administer any program, we do not approve or deny anyone for anything, and we cannot award a benefit.

What we do

Two things. We write plain-language guides to assistance programs across home improvement, health coverage, insurance, and debt — each naming the agency that runs the program and linking to its official application, because the official route is free and always will be.

And we connect households with licensed private companies that work in those categories. Those companies pay us for the introduction. That is the whole business model, and it is why this site is free to you.

How we are funded

We receive compensation from the companies featured on or linked from this site when a consumer connects with them. That may influence which providers appear and where. It does not change the program information itself: eligibility rules, agency names, and official links describe the programs as they exist, whether or not an advertiser benefits.

We receive no compensation from any government agency, and we never charge a consumer a fee.

How we write these pages

  • Never state or imply that this site is a government agency, or that using it applies you for a government program.
  • Name only programs that genuinely exist, and link each one to its own official source.
  • Say plainly when a widely advertised "program" is not real.
  • Treat every dollar figure, income limit, and deadline as provisional — these change every year.
  • Always name the free route first: the agency, the nonprofit counselor, the navigator.

What we are not

We are not a lender, an insurance company or agency, a health plan, a licensed contractor, a debt settlement company, a credit counseling agency, or a law firm. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, insurance, or medical advice.

Program rules change, and a page accurate last year may not be accurate today. If you find something wrong, tell us at support@subsidyprograms.org and we will fix it.
